Privacy notice
Operator: Island Enterprise Ltd, 120 John Greer Blvd, George Town, Grand Cayman, KY1-9006, Cayman Islands. Contact: info@island-enterprise.ky.
This notice covers Island Enterprise Freight Estimates, the company's internal Windows connector, and these supporting pages. It does not replace Intuit's or Cloudflare's privacy notices.
Information and purpose
The connector reads an operator-selected saved Excel workbook, including item descriptions, client labels, quantities, selling prices, estimate dates and readiness checks. It reads QuickBooks customer, product/service, tax-code and company settings records to match the correct destination. API responses can include names, contact or address details and financial records. This processing supports preparing accurate estimates, maintaining transaction records and avoiding duplicate exports.
Island Enterprise uses the connector for its business administration and contractual activities. Operators must have company authorisation and use records they are entitled to process.
Where the information goes
Workbooks are read locally and are not uploaded to this public website. After an operator reviews and exports, selected estimate details are sent directly from the local connector to Intuit. The connector does not send customer emails, advertising data or application records to AI services.
These pages are hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes web-request metadata, such as IP addresses, browser information and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the site. During authorisation, the callback URL contains a temporary Intuit authorisation code and related connection identifiers. The callback page has no forms, scripts, application database or application analytics. App secrets and stored tokens are not uploaded to the website. Intuit and Cloudflare may process data outside the Cayman Islands under their respective service terms and privacy arrangements.
Local storage and security
Client Secrets and connection tokens are encrypted using Windows protection tied to the Windows account. Local export history and returned estimate records are stored in a local database to support reconciliation, update checks and duplicate prevention; that database and the workbook are not encrypted by the connector itself. Access depends on the laptop's account security and the company's device and backup controls.
Retention and deletion
Workbooks and local export records remain under company control until an authorised administrator removes them in accordance with applicable record-retention needs. Revoking QuickBooks access does not automatically delete existing records. Contact the operator to request access, correction, restriction or deletion. Requests will be assessed under applicable law and any required record retention; local export history must be reconciled before removal.
Your rights and questions
You may contact Island Enterprise about its use of your personal data and exercise rights available under the Cayman Islands Data Protection Act, subject to applicable conditions and exemptions. You may also complain to the Cayman Islands Ombudsman.
The connector does not sell application records or use them for advertising or automated eligibility decisions. Information supplied by Intuit remains subject to the authorised QuickBooks use.
Other providers
See Intuit's privacy statement and Cloudflare's privacy policy for their handling of data. Changes to the connector's processing should be reflected in this notice before the changed processing starts.
